Our Team
Our team consists of board certified genetic counsellors and a network of clinical geneticists with vast experience in healthcare centres, academic and research centres across Asia. We provide case consultations for paediatric genetics, rare diseases, reproductive genetics, hereditary cancer, genetic screening and adult on-set conditions.
Juliana LEE, FHGSA, Grad. Dip. (GC), MCouns, BSc.(Hons).
Ms. Lee is a HGSA board certified genetic counsellor with over 22 years of clinical experience in genetic counselling. She is also an adjunct lecturer for the Master of Medical Science (Genetic Counselling) programme at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She obtained her BSc. (Hons.) in Genetics from UKM in 2002, completed Graduate Diploma in Genetic Counselling at the University of Melbourne in 2003 and graduated with Master of Counselling from University of Malaya in 2009. She began practice at the University Malaya Medical Centre in 2004 till 2014 before moving to private health services. Throughout her career, she has made significant contributions to the development of the genetic counselling profession in the Asia with the aim of improving patient access to genetic counselling and genetic testing.
Jia-Wen ON, MMedSc.(GC), BSc.(Hons).
Ms. On graduated with a BSc. (Hons.) in Genetics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2018 and subsequently obtained her Master of Medical Science in Genetic Counselling from UKM in 2021. Her working experience include conducting genetic counselling to patients and provide clinical support to clinical geneticist and medical doctors from public and private health services in Malaysia. She has managed cases that ranged from hereditary cancer, paediatric genetics, rare diseases and reproductive genetics.
